When will we know if Thanksgiving travel cause a spike in cases?

The New York Times reported on the expected post-Thanksgiving surge of COVID-19 cases and quoted Tom Russo, who said: “Most people were being good and had celebrations just within their own households. But that significant minority that did not is driving this surge, and will be our undoing.”
