Long-term exposure to poor air quality increases COVID-19 risk

An article in The Medical News featured Lina Mu, co-author of a UB study concluding long-term exposure to poor air quality increases risk of COVID-19. “Although 43% of the US population has been vaccinated and many of the states have been reopened and planned to reopen, individuals who have not yet vaccinated or not fully vaccinated will be at a high risk of infection by emerging COVID-19 variants," according to Mu.
