The Washington Post quoted Yotam Ophir in an article on debunking myths about vasectomies as their popularity increases following the Supreme Court ruling that overturned Roe v. Wade. “It’s a very famous joke — ‘snip-snap, snip-snap,’ like it’s that easy. Misinformation about vasectomies is prevalent, but again, it’s not the same as abortion misinformation because you still need to go through a doctor for a vasectomy,” said Ophir. “You’re not going to get the best information from Reddit nor on Twitter. People should talk to their doctors and read official websites by public health organizations.”
