The Buffalo News reports that UB President Satish K. Tripathi delivered his annual State of the University address on Friday at Slee Hall’s Lippes Concert Hall on UB’s North Campus. The story noted that UB was named as the home of New York State’s new $400 million Empire AI consortium, it received its second large federal grant to use AI to help children learn, and that it topped a $1 billion goal for its Boldly Buffalo fundraising campaign. “That’s just the beginning," Tripathi said. He added: “Over the next 10 years, UB will embark on one of the most significant periods of growth and modernization in our history.”
