Parking and Travel Advisory for Distinguished Speaker Event on Nov. 14

North Campus parking and travel will be affected during the Distinguished Speaker event featuring Nobel Laureate and best-selling author, Nadia Murad. The event takes place on Thursday, Nov. 14 at 7:00 p.m. at the Center for the Arts.

Parking Lots Closed Beginning at 3 p.m.

  • Baird B
  • Slee B
  • Lake LaSalle

Additional Event Parking Available

Additional event parking near Alumni Arena, accessible from Augspurger and Webster Roads, includes the following lots:

  • Baird A
  • Slee A
  • Special Event
  • Stadium
  • Arena

Handicap Event Parking Available

Handicap event parking lots include:

  • Baird B
  • Slee B

A handicap or accessible parking permit must be shown to the parking attendant for entry.

Stampede Buses Affected

Transportation services will experience minimal impact due to the event. However, UB Stampede bus schedules may be subject to slight traffic-related delays from 6:45 p.m. to 7:45 p.m.

Additional Campus Parking Available

If you are attending evening classes or visiting the North Campus, there will be less traffic on the north side of campus.

North side parking lots include Jarvis, Furnas, Ketter and Governors lots and are accessible via the Rensch or Hamilton entrances.
