Being a student isn’t easy, but a little help can go a long way. That’s why we’ve gathered a list of tech-related discounts and other student perks. Check it out to see how you can save on devices, software, and streaming services—just for being a UB student! Be sure to check with each vendor to make sure the listed offer is still valid.

Computers and hardware

  • Apple: discounts on MacBooks, iPads and accessories
  • Best Buy: discounts on lots of products, from laptops to smart TVs and more
  • Dell: discounts on new laptops, including Inspiron 15 (under $300). 
  • HP: student and teacher discounts up to 40% through their membership program
  • Lenovo: discounts on a variety of laptops, including the Lenovo V14 G4 ABP ($500) and ThinkPad L13 Yoga (under $900) 
  • Logitech: 30% off discount for students by registering with UNiDAYS
  • Microsoft: products for students, parents, and educators
  • Samsung: select Samsung products offered at an education discount

Software and online tools

  • Ableton Live: 60% discount on music creation tools for students and teachers
  • Adobe Creative Cloud: 60% off regular subscription price for Creative Cloud
  • Evernote: 40% off notetaking and organizing tool
  • GitHub: free upgrade to GitHub’s Student Developer Pack
  • Notion: free version of organization and planning software for students and educators
  • Ulysses: writing app for Mac/iPad/iPhone offered at a discount of $10.99 for 6 months
