In 2016, UB reopened Silverman Library after a two-year, $7.2 million renovation. This project included major upgrades to the 45,000-square-foot space, such as 17 group study areas with large-screen monitors, high-tech classrooms, video recording studios with editing suites and a café. 

Available to students 24 hours a day, Silverman Library is a state-of-the-art resource for students with not only the traditional offerings of a library but also flexible, innovative spaces for learning and collaboration.
