UB faculty, staff and students will be able to obtain drivers licenses and conduct other Department of Motor Vehicle business on campus when the Erie County Auto Bureau brings its mobile unit to the North Campus on Oct. 19.
The services, made possible by Erie County Clerk Chris Jacobs and the Office of Student Life, will be available from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in 220 Student Union.
In addition to obtaining drivers licenses—including enhanced licenses—members of the UB community will be able to register their automobiles, obtain non-driver identifications and convert out-of-state driver licenses to New York licenses. They also may enroll in E-ZPass “On-the-Go.”
Auto Bureau staffers also will be available to assist and educate students on the “rules of the road,” including seatbelt requirements, DWI laws, and cell phone and texting laws.
The mobile Auto Bureau will accept cash, checks made payable to “Erie County Clerk” and all major credit cards for transactions.
For more information, contact the Auto Bureau call center at 858-7450 or visit the Erie County Clerk’s website.
