UB faculty, staff and students, and their immediate family members are eligible to join Schussmeisters Ski Club, a student-run organization designed to provide members of the UB community opportunities for inexpensive skiing.

Members may ski at Holiday Valley, Kissing Bridge, Buffalo Ski Club, Peek ‘n Peak and Swain up to 11 times a week, depending on the club’s calendar. Free bus transportation is provided to members every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday nights from both the North and South campuses.

The club also is planning a trip to Jay Peak, Vt., Feb. 1-3. The cost is $349 for members and $399 for nonmembers.

Pre-season membership prices—$250 for faculty/staff/alumni, $155 for students and $260 for family members—are in effect through Oct. 5. After that, prices rise to $290, $180 and $300 through Nov. 30 and $330, $230 and $340 for the remainder of the season.
