“Medicaid and Estate Planning: Be Prepared,” a free series of lunchtime talks for UB employees, retirees and their families, will open on Feb. 2 with a session on basic Medicaid.
All talks in the four-part series, presented by UB’s Employee Assistance Program, will take place from noon to 1 p.m. in 280 Park Hall, North Campus.
The series is led by Lisa Allen, an attorney specializing in estate planning, elder and disability law. It is designed to offer strategies to help elders and those caring for individuals with special needs to obtain quality health care without losing their life savings.
In addition to the opening session on basic Medicaid, other sessions will address advanced Medicaid (Feb. 9), estate planning (March 1) and disability planning (March 8).
The full schedule, more details and registration information can be found online.
