The UB Humanities Institute will host a National Endowment for the Humanities regional application-writing workshop on Feb. 24 in the Center for the Arts.
The workshop, which is free and open to the public, will take place from 1-5 p.m. in the Screening Room, 112 CFA, North Campus.
It will be led by Daniel Sack, senior program officer for the NEH. The workshop will provide an overview of NEH programs and special initiatives, cover strategies for proposal writing, and feature a mock panel-review session and question-and-answer period.
A reception will follow the workshop.
Although the workshop is free, those attending are asked to register.
In addition to the workshop, Sack will be available for a limited number of one-on-one sessions to discuss specific projects. These session will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, by-appointment only. To register for a one-on-one session, e-mail Humanities Institute Program Administrator Maki Tanigaki.
