UB employees, their families and retirees can learn better ways to handle the pressure of everyday living at a free, half-day “Stress Less Retreat” on April 26.
Sponsored by the Employee Assistance Program, the retreat will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Center for Tomorrow, North Campus.
Keynote speaker Mary Jo Parker will discuss how to eat well to live well. Other activities include body and mind mini spa sessions ($10 fees are charged for reflexology, aromatherapy and therapeutic massage sessions), visits from therapy dogs, stress-reducing dance instruction and 30-minute yoga sessions.
The workshop will end with a free healthy lunch.
