After a break for the winter season, construction will resume April 17 on Sweet Home Road near the UB North Campus.

Work includes reconstruction of the proposed raised center median at the intersection of Sweet Home Road and Rensch Road, modifications to the traffic signal at Sweet Home and Rensch to accommodate new lane configurations, completing traffic signal improvements at Sweet Home and Maple Road, and applying a top course of asphalt to the roadway.

Motorists should expect some lane closures. Construction is expected to be completed in about three weeks.

Members of the UB community who travel to the North Campus via Sweet Home Road may want to allow for extra time for the trip — or take an alternate route during the construction.
