The Buffalo Niagara Medical Campus (BNMC) will hold a Summer Block Party from 4:30-7:30 p.m. on Aug. 9 in Kaminski Park and Gardens at Carlton and Elm streets in downtown Buffalo.
The family-friendly, alcohol-free event, which is open to friends and neighbors, as well as employees who work on the medical campus and their families, will feature food, live music, kids’ activities, and health and wellness information. Local community organizations also will be on hand.
The block party, which is co-sponsored by the UB Office of Community Relations, BNMC, Kaleida Health and Roswell Park Cancer Institute, is designed to welcome the community to the medical campus and provide an opportunity for BNMC employees and members of the surrounding neighborhoods to meet one another.
Participants are encouraged to bring a blanket or folding chairs. Free car and bicycle parking will be available.
The BNMC Summer Block Party is free, and will be held rain or shine. For more information, visit the BNMC’s website.
