Frank Grosso, executive director and CEO of the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists, will speak with pharmacy students from UB, D’Youville College and St. John Fisher College about the practice of consultant pharmacy during a presentation on Oct. 12.
Grosso’s talk, “Consultant Pharmacist Opportunities and Challenges in a Changing Environment,” is being presented in conjunction with the New York State chapter of the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists’ annual upstate meeting being held in Buffalo.
Grosso will talk with students about future opportunities as consultant pharmacists — often called senior care pharmacists — who take care of the medications needs of older adults across all care settings.
