UB employees can share their Thanksgiving traditions while making connections with members of UB’s diverse international community by taking part in the fourth annual “Thanksgiving Without Borders” program.
The goal of the program, sponsored by the offices of International Student and Scholar Services and Inclusive Excellence, is to foster a more inclusive community by encouraging meaningful cross-cultural experiences for faculty, staff and students. Read a UBNow story about the program.
Last year, 76 international students spent the holiday with a UB family.
Faculty and staff interested in participating in the program can sign up online. The deadline to register is Nov. 3.
Organizers will match as many UB employees and international students as possible. Those who are chosen to participate will receive information about their students no later than Nov. 16.
