UB cyclists who want to keep their bicycles safe from weather and theft during the winter months can store their bicycles for free with Parking and Transportation Services.
Those taking advantage of the program can bring their bicycles to Parking and Transportation Services’ office in 106 Spaulding Quad, Ellicott Complex, during regular business hours, beginning Nov. 15. Bikes will be given a tag that corresponds with the rider’s UB ID number.
Bicycles can be picked up in the spring at 106 Spaulding with the rider’s UB ID and the bike check-in tag. Bicycle mechanics will be on site during the last pickup days to oil chains, check brakes and perform routine maintenance on bicycles — for free. Cyclists who pick up their bikes earlier can bring them back for the free maintenance checkup.
