UB employees can learn the basics of ADHD — attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder — in a free session on Feb. 5 presented by UB’s Employee Assistance Program.
The session — “ADHD in Children and Adolescents: An Overview” — will take place from noon to 1 p.m. in 110 Capen Hall, North Campus. It will review ADHD — what it is, how it is diagnosed, what happens to kids with ADHD as they grow up and the best evidence for effective treatments at school and at home. Participants will have the opportunity for questions and conversation at the end of the talk.
