The semester is winding down and finals are approaching. Soon the stress will really start to set in.
What’s a UB student to do?
Students can learn how to manage stress before finals begin — and enjoy some relaxing activities as well — at the annual Chill Out event on May 2 sponsored by Counseling Services, Student Health Services, Wellness Education Services, Accessibility Resources and the Student Association.
The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Student Union lobby.
Chill Out offers students on-site activities to reduce stress, including dog therapy, free Stressbusters backrubs and hands-on activities like origami, that help students focus and relax.
Students also will have access to information and resources on such life skills as meditation, mindful eating and self-message that they can take away from the event.
