The Professional Staff Senate’s Sustainable Living Committee is sponsoring a free clothing and household electronics recycling event April 26 at the Center for Tomorrow.
Members of the UB community can drop off personal items from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the CFT parking lot on the North Campus.
Among the electronics items accepted are computers, monitors and televisions, cell phones, networking devices, UPS and UPS batteries, printers, fax machines, scanners, copiers, duplicators, plotters and typewriters, as well as all items used in the function of these devices, such as keyboards, mice and speakers.
Also accepted are microwaves, projectors, stereos, receivers, Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo.
The electronics will be collected by Maven Industries, while Hearts for the Homeless will handle the clothing.
