UB faculty and staff can explore a myriad of techniques, resources and information proven to reduce stress at the annual Stress Less Retreat.
Sponsored by the Employee Assistance Program, the free retreat will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 2 in the Center for Tomorrow, North Campus.
Keynote speaker Sanford Levy will talk about which vitamins and supplements are worth taking and when supplementation can be helpful and detrimental.
The day also will include sessions on Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), creating a stress-free living space, self-care and energy healing, as well as visits from therapy dogs.
Sign up for therapeutic massage ($1 per 1 minute) or enjoy a free foot massage.
A healthy lunch will be provided.
