Sculpture from Claire Falkenstein’s “Time Elements” exhibition at the UB Anderson Gallery will be the inspiration for a Happy Hour and Drawing Workshop on June 28.

The adults-only event will take place from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the gallery at 1 Martha Jackson Place, off Englewood Avenue near the South Campus. Food and adult beverages will be served.

The workshop will be led by Buffalo artist Pam Glick, who will help participants add to their own art collections by learning sculpture-influenced drawing techniques.

Falkenstein’s work, on display on the second floor of the gallery, explores different materials in a variety of mediums, including sculpture, painting, printmaking and jewelry-making. She is primarily known for her sculpture of tangled webs of metal, glass, wood and cloth.
