The UB football team is leaving tomorrow for Detroit for its first appearance in a MAC Championship game in a decade, and members of the UB community can turn out for a “Walk to Victory” to send the team off in style.

The event will take place at 10 a.m. Nov. 29 in the lobby of the Murchie Family Football Center in UB Stadium. Fans can park in the stadium lot and enter the building through the South Ticket Gate.

After the walk, team members will leave for Detroit, where they will play Northern Illinois in the championship game on Friday in Ford Field. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.; the game is being broadcast on ESPN2. The Bulls look to repeat history 10 years after winning the 2008 MAC title.
