Bulls fans who don’t make the trek to Detroit for the MAC Championship game can watch their team take on Northern Illinois on Friday at a number of watch parties.

On campus, fans will gather in the lobby of the Student Union. Off campus, parties are being held at both Santora’s Pizza Pub & Grill locations — 7800 Transit Road and 1402 Millersport Highway — as well as the Wehrle Golf Dome, 8230 Wehrle Drive. Preregistration is requested for the “Buckets and Bulls” event at the golf dome sponsored by the UB Alumni Association.

Watch parties also are taking place in New York City (Dewey’s Pub), Atlanta (Hudson Grille), Philadelphia (Fox & Hound) and Washington, D.C. (Buffalo Billiards).

Kickoff for the game at Ford Field in Detroit is at 7 p.m.; the game is being broadcast on ESPN2. The Bulls look to repeat history a decade after winning the 2008 MAC title.
