UB Giving Day not only builds community in Buffalo and around the world, but the critical, one-day giving blitz also directly supports the entire university.
The eighth annual Giving Day kicks off at noon on April 26 and runs through noon on April 27.
“Since 2015, UB Giving Days have raised nearly $2 million for the university,” says Dawn Baumgarten, executive director of annual giving in the Division of University Advancement. “It’s a special day filled with giving challenges, UB spirit and pride, and shoutouts from alumni, donors and on-campus colleagues. But the best part is that during all this UB fun and pride we are raising significant funds in support of UB students, research and programs.”
Giving Day gifts may be made to any area or cause at UB. Matches and challenges have been made possible by generous donors and will increase the power of gifts.
With the help of the UB community, the university can accomplish what UB Giving Day is meant to do: build community and support UB. Be sure to check out matches and challenges and follow the progress to goal.
