Attendees at the UB Bulls’ home opener on Sept. 10 against Holy Cross are encouraged to “blue-out” UB Stadium by wearing blue and bringing their True Blue pride to the game.
Kickoff is at 6 p.m.; the game will be broadcast on ESPN+.
UB faculty and staff can purchase tickets for the special price of $10 per ticket.
Stampede Square opens at 3 p.m., followed by the Walk to Victory at 3:30 p.m. and the Tailgate Concert, featuring the IOT Band, at 4 p.m. Nick Lividini, this year’s True Blue student club president, will lead students in the running of the bulls — also known as the “True Blue Dash,” a home-opener tradition.
The first 1,500 students at the game will receive a free True Blue T-shirt. Those looking to refresh their True Blue wardrobe with new gear can receive a 25% discount from Sept. 6-9 on all blue merchandise at campus retailers Gift and Greek, Campus Tees, the University Bookstore and the Bulls Team Shop in Alumni Arena.
True Blue celebrates the power and the pride of the UB community. The True Blue website serves as a hub for True Blue spirit, showcasing stories, profiles, videos and photos, and inviting the entire UB community to submit their own.
