The five finalists in the search for a new dean of the School of Dental Medicine will visit campus over the next two weeks.

The names and CVs of the finalists will be available on the search website 48 hours prior to each candidate’s visit. Members of the UB community will need to log in with their UBIT name and password to gain access to finalists’ names and CVs.

During their visits, finalists will meet with senior academic and administrative leadership, staff, faculty, students and alumni.

Public forums with the finalists will take place from 10-11 a.m. in 326 Squire Hall, South Campus, on Jan. 24, Jan. 26, Jan. 30, Jan. 31 and Feb. 2.

For those who cannot attend in person, a livestream will be available on the search website at the time of each open session. Additionally, a recording of each session will be posted on the search website until 5 p.m. Feb. 3.

Confidential surveys will also be available on the search website to gather feedback on each candidate. All feedback must be submitted by 5 p.m. Feb. 3.

The search is seeking a successor to Joseph J. Zambon, who retired Jan. 5 after 39 years of service to UB.
