It’s now officially spring, and time to get your bicycle road-ready with a free tuneup.
Parking and Transportation Services, Campus Living and University Police will have expert bicycle mechanics available on the North and South campuses this week, weather permitting.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 12 at The Commons on the North Campus and on April 13 at the Main Circle bus loop on the South Campus.
Experts will be on hand to oil chains, check brakes and perform basic maintenance on your bicycle.
Participants are advised that due to demand, bicycles will not be accepted into the queue for tuneups after 1:30 p.m. on both days.
Participants can also register their bike to learn about new programs and services for bicycling at UB, such as winter storage, group rides and fix-it stands located at Main Circle, Flint Loop, Fargo/Greiner, Rensch Loop and the Student Union.
Anyone with questions about Spring Bike Days can contact Parking and Transportation Services at 716-645-3943 or parking@buffalo.edu.
