UB’s fall 2024 recruitment, admissions and enrollment cycle is underway, and UB employees are asked to save the dates and take part in student recruitment and enrollment events for the upcoming college admissions season.

These campuswide events provide prospective students and their families with a true feeling for the UB campus and community, and are extremely influential in students’ college search and selection process — and their ultimate decision to apply and enroll at UB, admissions and enrollment administrators say. And, they stress, the presence of UB faculty and staff at these events makes a significant difference and demonstrates how UB personally engages with students throughout their UB career.

UB employees are encouraged to showcase their UB pride by volunteering with the Office of Admissions or with their academic units to greet and welcome families, and provide directional assistance around campus during these events.

Those interested in volunteering can email Christina Caucci-Anderson with the date or dates they are available to volunteer.

The schedule:

• Aug. 4: College Exploration Day.
• Oct. 21: Fall Open House.
• Nov. 10: Discovery Day.
• April 7, 2024: Accepted Students Day.
• April 11: Preview Day for Juniors.
• April 20: Accepted Students Day.

Anyone wishing to volunteer for the Aug. 4 College Exploration Day should email Caucci-Anderson by July 31.
