Members of the university community are invited to take part in public forums with the five finalists for the position of UB’s next chief of police.
The candidates’ visits to campus over the next two weeks will including meetings with various university and community stakeholders, as well as the open forums, where candidates will make introductory remarks and answer questions from the audience.
The open forums will be held in 128 Bissell Hall, North Campus. A Zoom option is also available.

The names and CVs of the finalists will be available at this link on Sept. 8.
Those attending the open forums are asked to provide their confidential feedback on the candidates by submitting feedback surveys for each finalist. All feedback must be submitted by noon on Sept. 25.
The search is seeking a successor to Chris Bartolomei, who is retiring as chief of University Police later this summer after 27 years with UPD — the last five as acting chief, then chief.
