The four finalists in the search for a new vice provost for inclusive excellence will be visiting campus this month to meet with members of the campus community.
Open forums with the candidates will be held from 1-1:55 p.m. Sept. 13, 14, 15 and 19 in the Buffalo Room, 10 Capen Hall, North Campus. During the meetings, the candidates will make introductory remarks and talk with those in attendance.
The names and CVs of the finalists will be available on the search website 48 hours prior to each candidate’s visit. Members of the UB community will be able to log in with their UBIT name and password to gain access to the names and CVs of the candidates.
For those who cannot attend in person, a livestream will be available on the search website at the time of each open session. Additionally, a recording of each session will be posted on the search website after the open session and will be available until 5 p.m. on Sept. 20.
Confidential surveys for each finalist will be available on the search website to gather feedback. All feedback must be submitted by 5 p.m. on Sept. 20.
The search is seeking a successor to Despina Stratigakos, who stepped down from the position last September to return to her faculty role as professor of architecture.
