After a three-year pandemic pause, UB’s Thanksgiving without Borders program is back and looking for faculty and staff who can share their Thanksgiving traditions — and at the same time make connections with members of UB’s diverse international community.
The goal of the program, sponsored by the offices of International Student Services and the Vice Provost Inclusive Excellence, is to foster a more inclusive community by encouraging meaningful cross-cultural experiences for faculty, staff and students. Read a UBNow story about the program.
Faculty and staff interested in participating in the program can sign up online. The deadline to register is Oct. 31.
Organizers will match as many UB employees and international students as possible. Those who are chosen to participate will receive information about their students no later than Nov. 10.
Those with questions can email Jim Bowman at iss@buffalo.edu.
