It’s now officially spring, and time to get your bicycle road-ready with a free tuneup.
Parking and Transportation Services, Campus Living and University Police will have expert bicycle mechanics available on the North and South campuses next week, and the Downtown Campus on April 12.
The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 3 at The Commons on the North Campus and on April 4 at the Main Circle bus loop on the South Campus, and from 1-3 p.m. April 12 at the Washington Street entrance of the Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.
Experts will be on hand to oil chains, check brakes and perform basic maintenance on your bicycle.
Participants are advised that due to demand, bicycles will not be accepted into the queue for tuneups after 1:30 p.m. on the North and South campuses and after 2:30 p.m. at the Jacobs School.
More information about bicycling at UB can be found on Parking and Transportation’s website.
