The renewal and application processes are now open for faculty/staff parking permits for the 2024-25 academic year.

UB is now using a license plate recognition system (LPR), a virtual system that allows drivers to use their license plate as their parking permit. UB’s LPR uses optical character recognition technology to read license plates and match them to the information in the university’s parking database.

Parking permit registration must be completed annually; the 2023-24 “virtual” permits expire on June 30.

Register and ensure your vehicle and license plate information are accurate in Parking and Transportation Services’ E-Business Center.

The cost for the permit is $15; it is free to volunteers and retirees. The UB QuikPAY system accepts Visa, MasterCard or Discover cards and e-checks.
