UB employees can share their Thanksgiving traditions while making connections with members of UB’s diverse international community by taking part in the “Thanksgiving Without Borders” program.

The goal of the program, sponsored by the Office of International Student Services and the Office of the Vice Provost for Inclusive Excellence, is to foster a more inclusive community by encouraging meaningful cross-cultural experiences for faculty, staff and students.

International students have reported that “Thanksgiving Without Borders” is one of the experiences that has affected them the most while at UB.

Faculty and staff interested in participating as a host family can visit the Thanksgiving Without Borders webpage and complete the Host Registration Form.

The deadline to sign up is Nov. 1. Host families will receive information about the students with whom they’ve been matched no later than Nov. 15.
