Verona Quartet returns to close out Slee Beethoven String Quartet Cycle

The internationally-acclaimed Verona Quartet returns to Lippes Concert Hall in Slee Hall on the North Campus April 10-11 for the final two performances of the Slee Beethoven String Quartet Cycle, Part II.

Known for their passionate and nuanced interpretations, the Verona Quartet has been praised by The New York Times as an “outstanding ensemble…cohesive and full of temperament.” Their performances bring Beethoven’s visionary string quartets to life, offering audiences an immersive and powerful chamber music experience.

Both performances begin at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased in advance through Ticketmaster for the April 10 concert and April 11 performance.

Tickets can also be purchased at the Center for the Arts box office between noon and 6 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, or at the Slee Hall box office within the hour before concert time. UB students with a valid ID are entitled to one complimentary ticket for each UB Music Department concert and may pick up their complimentary ticket before concert time.

In addition to its two performances, the Verona Quartet will lead a master class in Lippes Concert Hall at 11 a.m. on April 11, providing a unique opportunity for students and music enthusiasts. This event is free and open to the public.
