UB alumni continue to make an impact in Western New York, comprising half of Buffalo Business First’s 2018 “40 Under 40” honorees.
Now in its 27th year, the “40 Under 40” program recognizes 40 men and women — all under the age of 40 — who are both successful in their professional pursuits and heavily involved in the Buffalo community.
Twenty people on this year’s list are graduates of UB, working in positions ranging from senior administrative officer to educator.
“It is wonderful to see so many of our alumni being recognized for their significant accomplishments and meaningful contributions to our region,” said President Satish K. Tripathi.
“The prevalence of UB graduates on this year’s ‘40 Under 40’ list demonstrates that our alumni, across the disciplines, are using their education to make a profound difference in the community, and I couldn’t be prouder.”
