After a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, UB on the Green, UB’s free outdoor performance series, is back for a 14th season on July 21.

The family-friendly, alcohol-free event takes place from 5-8 p.m. on the Hayes Hall Lawn on the South Campus. It’s sponsored by the Office of Government and Community Relations.

A performance by the band Nerds Gone Wild will begin at 6:30 p.m.

Spectators are encouraged to bring a picnic meal, lawn chairs and blankets. Refreshments from the House of Munch and Lloyd Taco food trucks also will be available for purchase.

Free parking is available in the Townsend and Parker lots.

“The Office of Community Relations is so excited to bring UB on the Green back to Hayes Lawn this summer,” says Melissa Wood, assistant director of community relations. “It has always been such a wonderful opportunity to bring the campus community and the University Heights neighborhood together. We’re looking forward to an evening of great music and good company.”

UB staff, faculty and students who would like to present informational tables at UB on the Green can contact Community Relations.
