UB on the Green, UB’s free, outdoor performance series, is back for a 15th season on July 20.

The family-friendly, alcohol-free event takes place from 5:30-8:30 p.m. on the Hayes Hall Lawn on the South Campus. It’s sponsored by the Office of Government & Community Relations.

A performance by Strictly Hip, the popular Tragically Hip tribute band, will begin at 6 p.m.

Spectators are encouraged to bring a picnic meal, lawn chairs and blankets. Refreshments from the House of Munch and Lloyd Taco food trucks also will be available for purchase.

Free parking is available in the Townsend and Parker lots.

“UB on the Green is a chance for us to bring the community to the South Campus to showcase what UB has to offer, and to give back to our neighbors,” says Jordan W. Nicholson, director of community relations. “Everyone is welcome to come, free of charge, and enjoy a night of music, food and summer fun.”

UB staff, faculty and students who would like to present informational tables at UB on the Green can contact Community Relations.
