UB on the Green, UB’s free, outdoor performance series, is back for a 16th season on July 18.

The family-friendly, alcohol-free event takes place from 5:30-8:30 p.m. on the Hayes Hall Lawn on the South Campus. It’s sponsored by the Office of Government & Community Relations.

Music by Vitamin D, a popular local band performing soul, funk, R&B, pop, indie rock and hip hop, begins at 6 p.m.

Spectators are encouraged to bring a picnic meal, lawn chairs and blankets. Refreshments from the Buffalo Burger Bros and Lloyd Taco food trucks also will be available for purchase.

Free parking is available in the Townsend and Parker lots.

“Every year we’re excited to welcome the community to Hayes Lawn for UB on the Green,” says Jordan W. Nicholson, director of community relations. “All are welcome to come enjoy music, food trucks, games, prizes and more. It’s a small way for us to give back to the community and bring everyone together before the fall semester starts.”

UB staff, faculty and students who would like to present informational tables at UB on the Green can contact Government & Community Relations.
