Daniel Seiders, UB's landscape architect, recently submitted to UBNow this photo of a curious natural "mistake." Due to the unseasonably cold nights that occurred about a week ago, the crabapple trees — like this one near Diefendorf Meadow — were "tricked" into thinking it's spring again. Some trees are opening their buds, intended for next spring, and flowering.
