The Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences opened its doors to community members and organizations Sept. 5 for its second annual Community Engagement Fair: Stronger Together. Among the 30 nonprofits taking part was Jericho Road Community Health Center. The center was represented by Maisha Rahman (pictured here), who spoke to fair-goers about the organization's mission to provide medical care, especially to refugees, immigrants and families living in poverty. The fair, which was free and open to the public, also featured free food samples from local and minority-owned restaurants. Photo: Sandra Kicman
