The Malaysian SA performance told the story of a broken family and how family comes in all shapes and sizes. An ambitious, ungrateful son, Si Tanggang, grew up in humble beginnings but wanted to be wealthy.
Malaysian SA members' performance was well received.
Si Tanggang and his single mother grew apart; he became a rich sea captain and married a princess.
Si Tanggang sees his mother and disowns her. She curses him and he turns to stone. MASA's performance earned third place in the Fiesta.
UB Bhangra performed a cultural dance using props from Punjab, India.
Bhangra usually performs with Indian SA, but this year the group also performed a solo number to showcase the dance.
