UB students used cutting-edge artificial intelligence to help local businesses and community organizations solve real-world challenges at the inaugural AI Hackathon Challenge, held Sept. 27-29 on the North Campus. The goal was to develop a technological solution to one of three problem statements using generative AI — systems like ChatGPT that are capable of creating text, images, video, audio, code and other media in response to queries.
