UB proudly honors its first-generation college students, faculty and staff. A week of activities to recognize their success and achievements began in the Capen Walkway on Monday with National First-Generation College Student Day. The week has included talks, student panels, lunch with first-generation alumni and other events to highlight academic endeavors.
