UB’s 2008 Campaign for the Community has raised $476,393, or 56 percent of its goal of $850,000.

The amount raised as of Nov. 12 is based on the participation of 25 percent of UB employees who have returned their pledge cards.

In addition to reaching its monetary goal, this year’s campaign aims to increase the employee participation rate, which for last year’s campaign was 45.64 percent.

The campaign, which kicked off on Oct. 15, runs through the end of the semester. David L. Dunn, vice president for health sciences, is campaign chair.
