A new joint in town: Campieri’s (aka “888” since it’s at 888 Main Street). It’s not so much the toppings as the crust. I don’t know what they do there, but it’s good. I usually just ask for a tre formaggi or plain old pepperoni.

I am really enjoying the new Zetti’s so close to the North Campus (corner of Maple and Flint). My favorite slice is the spinach and ricotta. Very reminiscent of New York City.

Pizza Plant for their gluten-free pizzas on Wednesdays. Extra cheese and garlic with crushed red pepper on top.

Where is the best place on campus to watch spring unfold?
Behind Slee and Clemens halls at the top of the hill. You can see the lake and the Ellicott Complex in the background. People are walking all around the campus; it is so peaceful and a beautiful sight to enjoy.

Cathy Carfagna says:
DiMarco's, at the corner of Englewood & Kenmore Avenue, has excellent pizza. Our favorites are cheese pizza with spinach or their white pizza.

We usually make our own pizza, but in the past we have enjoyed some gourmet pies from LePizza Club on Hertel (spinach & blue cheese!), Pizza Bella out west on Tonawanda, and of course La Nova on W Ferry. These are not your generic pepperoni & cheese variety.

Pat Donovan says:
Bob and John's (on Hertel) or Franco's (on Kenmore) - red pizza with sweet red peppers, onion, fresh tomatoes and spinach. The veggie option from "Your Tomato Pie" is excellent, too.
Larry Donovan, my dog, prefers red pizza + extra cheese +sausage +double pepperoni +chicken +bacon but he doesn't pay so he's not getting any.
