Ohlson’s Bakery in Clarence (8500 Sheridan Drive). Their kringles are awesome and the owners—a husband-and-wife team—bake fresh daily!

Dolci on Elmwood Avenue (732 Elmwood Ave., Buffalo). Now I’m sure there will be some disagreement, but their Italian-inspired cakes and cookies are the best in the area, hands down. I warn you: Stay away or you may just become a regular customer. Try the peanut butter-filled chocolate cookies. Yum!

University Communications -
Anderson’s frozen custard is the best in the world—especially the pistachio and black raspberry. There is nothing like it, here or anywhere else.
