My favorite summer food dishes are barbecue chicken fresh off the grill and a tall glass of ice-cold lemonade!!!

A hamburger on the grill is one of my top picks, but a huge salad with all fresh vegetables from the farmers market in North Tonawanda is my absolute favorite.

I love going to farmers markets for the fresh fruit and the sweet corn. I eat more corn between June and September than I do all year.

My favorite summer food is the tomato. Fried green ones, cherry tomatoes plucked off the bush and into my mouth. Red ripe ones eaten like an apple. Early Girl or Heirloom. Summer is definitely tomato season!
