My wife and I have always enjoyed the Sunday brunch at the Adams Mark Hotel on Church Street downtown. The atmosphere is perfect for relaxing on a Sunday morning and the food is outstanding.

I am not sure if it’s “brunch” but we go to the Clarence Bowling Academy (10718 Main St., Clarence) for a late breakfast and bowling with our 5-year-old daughter, Francesca.

Since my favorite place, Solid Grounds on Elmwood Avenue, is no longer open, I would have to say it is a split decision between Shango on Main Street (near South Campus) and Betty’s in Allentown (on Virginia near Cottage). Shango offers a really unique Southern-style brunch that is fun and delicious. But, I would have to say that Betty’s is always good. They have a constantly changing menu and an awesome, laid-back atmosphere!

Nektar on Elmwood Ave. has a great brunch although I haven't been there in a little while. If the menu hasn't strayed much from what it was, you will find a very unique and contemporary approach. Complimented with a shit-load of mimosas, good friends and after-brunch drinks, I have yet to have a better time in the morning.

I have to mention my all-time favorite brunch: the Roycroft Inn in East Aurora. It's so cozy in the winter with a chair near the fire and a string quartet playing in the background. Another new favorite: Muse at the Albright Knox.

$1.99 is all it takes for a nearly broke college student like me to have a good breakfast at Amy's Place (On Main accross from South Campus) just get in there before 9am. The price for that quality food can't be beat.
...darn now you know my secret. ;)
